Postdoctoral Position

In a pioneering international initiative, Cornell University and Weill Cornell Medical College established Weill Cornell Medicine - Qatar (WCM-Q) in 2001 through a unique partnership with the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development.
WCM-Q seeks candidates for a postdoctoral associate position in Artificial Intelligence in Medicine.

This role is within the AI Innovation Lab. The successful candidate will work closely with the lab’s director and the team to drive the development of innovative AI algorithms for the analysis and interpretation of an extensive variety of biomedical data.

The AI Innovation Lab at WCM-Q, which is directed by Dr Ahmed Serag, focuses on advancing medicine through the development of innovative AI algorithms across a wide spectrum of medical challenges. Our research aims to explore the intersection of AI and medicine, uncovering new possibilities for diagnosis, treatment, and disease prevention. More details about our research are available here


Must Have

  • Ph.D. degree in a related field

Should Have

  • Prior experience in data science or analysis

Essential skills

  • Highly motivated
  • Fluent in English
  • Able to work independently
